Adrian Evans, Director of Ev-entz and David Powell of Upbeat met in 1977 as they started their fledgling percussion studies in the same Music Centre. Progressing through to the Gwent Youth Brass Band, they eventually formed 50% of the percussion section of the first National Youth Brass Band of Wales! What began with fire juggling in the hills of mid Wales has evolved into a professional company of freelance dancers, circus and puppetry artists, illusionists and musicians who collaborate to bring a sense of awe, wonder and joy to people of all ages, abilities and creative interests.
