The new lockdown announced January 4th 2021 has obviously affected our ability to deliver in schools.
We are still here to help however and in order to assist schools deliver fun and educational music content for home/blended learning, we have launched video resources for the primary sector (3 to 11 years) that additionally support wellbeing. The content is delivered by our specialist team and has accompanying simple to follow teacher packs. We are hugely excited by this aptly entitled 'Uplift' venture which is viewable and purchasable on the 'Resources & Training' page of this website. These resources are currently being used by over 70 schools including British International Schools. We are working towards launching drama and dance content too by the end of January.
Additionally, we have been producing and adding resources to assist teachers in Wales as they prepare for the forthcoming Curriculum for Wales. Please take a look at our Cwricwlwm Cymreig page for videos to support learning about the musical culture of Wales. This page will be regularly added to as we produce and unearth resources. A very special thank you goes to those musicians and dancers who have contributed and shared their expertise thus far.
